Robert Lewis Perryman, Jr. (born October 16, 1964 in Raleigh, North Carolina) is a former professional American football running back who played six seasons in the National Football League, four for the New England Patriots and two for the Denver Broncos, from 1987 to 1992. He played college football at the University of Michigan and was drafted in the third round of the 1987 NFL Draft. Perryman played high school football at Bourne High School in Bourne, Massachusetts. He is now the Assistant Coach of the Boston Militia in the Independent Women's Football League.

  • Robert Lewis Perryman, Jr. (born October 16, 1964 in Raleigh, North Carolina) is a former professional American football running back who played six seasons in the National Football League, four for the New England Patriots and two for the Denver Broncos, from 1987 to 1992. He played college football at the University of Michigan and was drafted in the third round of the 1987 NFL Draft. Perryman played high school football at Bourne High School in Bourne, Massachusetts. In an incident that occurred in September 1990, Perryman, along with Patriots teammates Zeke Mowatt and Michael Timpson, were fined by the NFL for sexual harassment stemming from a locker room interview involving Boston Herald reporter Lisa Olson. Perryman now lives in North Andover, MA with his wife and 2 kids, Krista, Robert Perryman. He also played 1/2 of a year for the Dallas Cowboys after being waived by the Patriots during the 1990 mid season. He was picked up by the Denver Broncos where he played from 1991 until he retired. He is now the Assistant Coach of the Boston Militia in the Independent Women's Football League.
