Nominations (reported in the 18 November issue of the National Business Review) included: * Wellington company Airport Equipment's air-bridges for the new double-deck 550-seat Airbus A380 (being sold in half a dozen countries) * linking (within budget and on time) to the national grid, with cable reticulation and transmission lines, the Te Apiti windfarm (the biggest in the Southern Hemisphere) near Palmerston North * a vege-polisher from WYMA Engineering in Christchurch - it can brush 40 tonnes of potatoes or root vegetables per hour to the cleanliness standards required for supermarkets * the upgrading of a 33-year-old Nelson harbour tug for NZ$1.8 million (as against the $3m cost for a replacement) * an interchange linking Auckland's Grafton Gully with the central motorway
