According to the GRG, the oldest person ever from Denmark was Anne Matthiesen, who died in 1996, aged 111 years, 114 days, but Danish born Christian Mortensen, aged 115 years, 252 days, died in the United States in 1998.As of 30 January 2018, the GRG reports no validated living supercentenarians in Denmark, but that the oldest person living, since the death of Signe Hoejer on 18 March 2016, is Ellen Brandenborg, aged 112 years, 23 days.
