| - Acute is defined as relating to an injury or illness that has a rapid onset and follows a short but severe course. It is the opposite of chronic.
- An acute illness is one that either has a rapid onset or a quick progression. However, it does not imply the disease is serious or life threatening. A common cold is acute, but harmless. Compare with chronic. In many cases, different forms of disease with the same symptoms are classified as acute or chronic depending on their progression (e.g. acute intermittent porphyria)

Meanwhile Luka, aware of the betrayal, takes the role of the typical awaiting mistress.
