The 2013 Jagex Clan Cup was an event which started in September 2013. This time Jagex announced there were not going to host this annual tournament, and instead a group of players came together to host it themselves. The team of volunteers made do with what they could without the tracking systems Jagex have available. This meant there was a large difference to the way the skilling cup was ran with no reliable xp tracking and was made members only. Instead the skilling cup took the form of non-combat Stealing Creation. Other notable changes to the format were:

This meant there was a large difference to the way the skilling cup was ran with no reliable xp tracking and was made members only. Instead the skilling cup took the form of non-combat Stealing Creation. Other notable changes to the format were: * EOC combat levels were different and therefore categories were different. * EOC combat meant there was a bug with Stealing Creation where players could cast spells without runes. * There was an old school cup as well. Jagex gave some support to this cup through news posts and providing prizes of stickying forum threads and adding the clans of the main events to the Clan Cup Plaque. In the final few weeks of the tournament, given the success (with over 70 clans taking part), Jagex announced the following year they would host the tournament again.
