The M20 Firefly Multiple Launch Rocket System is a UNSC artillery unit. The MLRS is used to preform mid to long range artillery strikes against heavily entrenched units, being used more often than not as a barrage weapon for saturating an area with fire. The vehicle consists of a tracked chassis with an armoured cab, carrying the crew and the necessary systems for driving the vehicle, priming and aiming the weapons and coordinating and remotely operating the weapon system. On the back of the chassis is the self erecting launcher platform carrying two pods. These can be set up to carry six Crossbow rockets, with an intermediate range and high damage potential, using high explosive warheads or deadly submunitions, or carry a single Khan Cruise Missile, capable of heavy damage against a preci

  • The M20 Firefly Multiple Launch Rocket System is a UNSC artillery unit. These can be set up to carry six Crossbow rockets, with an intermediate range and high damage potential, using high explosive warheads or deadly submunitions, or carry a single Khan Cruise Missile, capable of heavy damage against a precise target, with a wide array of exotic warheads available for it. The Firefly has th full range of accurate targeting system and communication hard wear for precise targeting, submunition spread and fire co-ordination. The Firefly is commonly used for two purposes. Engaging large armoured formations from long distances, where the common anti-armour submuntions can annihilate multiple targets, or for 'grid square removal service', causing devastation to a square kilometre of area, usually used for heavily entrenched enemies in non-strategic positions.
