An open Möbius band is a two-dimensional shape similar to an ordinary Möbius band, but with the single circular edge removed. It can be constructed from a strip in the same way that a normal Möbius band can be constructed, though the strip must also be open on two sides to give the open edge of the open Möbius band. Because there are no points on the edge, it is topologically equivalent to the infinite Möbius band.
