The Plymouth Superbird '70 is an American muscle car produced by Plymouth. It is based on the Roadrunner, adding an aerodynamic nosecone, a high-rise rear spoiler for improved downforce, and special rear-facing scoops over the front wheel wells to facilitate the ventilation of trapped air and reduce front-end lift. The Superbird was created as a means to homologate these extreme aerodynamic modifications for the NASCAR series. In recent years, however, the Superbird has become a quite valuable and collectible car.
