Born on an unknown forest planet, he was forced to become a child soldier for one of the many warring kingdoms on his homeworld. Surviving long enough to stowaway on a Coruscant-bound transport, he made it to the galactic capitol. From then, he did various jobs, trying to get by, before deciding to join the Republic military. He made it into special forces, and rose to the rank of sergeant before leaving the force and becoming a mercenary.
