  • The altar recharges Prayer points, as all other altars do. Altars in a POH also allow players to offer bones upon them, providing bonus Prayer experience over simply burying the bones; the maximum bonus of 250% (e.g. total experience is 350% of the base amount) is given by a Gilded altar with two burners lit. During Double XP Weekends, altars only give their usual bonuses; furthermore, no bonus experience is used, and experience-boosting items or other bonuses will not work.
  • The Chapel is a religious building and one of the sources of popularity. The chapel is a small building, which requires only gold to build. It hosts a priest, who wanders around the people and spreads faith among them. Faith wears off after a while, and as population grows, more chapels are needed to cover it. Popularity is gained each month determined by the percentage of religion cover. Each 25% coverage adds +2 to the monthly popularity balance.

  • The Chapel(礼拝堂Reihaidō) is a building on Rokkenjima and the site of several murders that take place. It is situated in a grove behind the mansion, which could be reached after a short walk. It had been built at the same time that the mansion had been constructed on Rokkenjima, so while its outside walls had been repaired many times, making it look new from the outside, it was a very old building. To Kinzo, it was a very sacred place, and so he has harshly told his children not to approach it unnecessarily. It has its own key, so master keys won't allow it to be opened.

  • Heather Mason enters the chapel through a mysterious tunnel following a fight with the Memory of Alessa and the descent of the Happy Carousel in the Lakeside Amusement Park. It seems safe to assume the chapel is located somewhere in the Resort Area. While similar in function to a church, a chapel is usually smaller. In large churches, areas (chapels) may be set aside adjacent to or away from the main nave where religious services can be conducted, including divine liturgies. As a special example, the Pokrovsky Sobor in Moscow, Russia, also called the Cathedral of the Intercession and St. Basil's Cathedral, is a "church" made up of nine chapels, the main one dedicated to St. Basil the Blessed.

His true name is never given, and he is only ever identified by his title Chapel or as Master C.
