The 1957 Richmond 250 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Richmond International Raceway on May 5, 1957. Fireball Roberts dominated the event, leading 159 of the 200 laps, but teammate Paul Goldsmith drove by him late in the event, as Goldsmith held off Roberts by one lap for the win. Eventual season champ Buck Baker finished 10th after a rear end issue. Stats
