Sand snakes were fur-covered snakes that were native to Geonosis. Oddly, their eyes and mouth were positioned in the center of their roughly three-meters-long body. Boba Fett once encountered a sand snake on Geonosis which was being fought over by two massiffs. When Fett came along, they dropped the sand snake for him. He then picked up a piece of mica, a rock as shiny as glass, and threw it at one of the massiffs. The other massiff jumped for Fett, missed, and fell off the cliff at the other side. A couple of days later, Fett found a sand snake following him, probably the same one he saved.

  • Sand Snake (サンドスネーク Sand Snake?) is an snake enemy of the desert area in Mega Man Zero. The player can know they will surface as they hear sand moving and, in some cases, see a moving mound of sand indicating where they will burst up. The shoot energy spheres in large arcs. They can be an even bigger pain in the "Find Shuttle" mission, when Zero has to get the survivor safely back to base. Luckily Zero can strike the enemy's shots and keep the survivor safe.
  • It can be fought in the Nightmare Zone after the quest is complete.
  • A venomous species of snake found in northern Magnamund.
  • The Sand Snake is an enemy from Grandia. It can be found in the Luzet Mountains. Sand Snakes do not appear alongside any other enemies and have the ability to cast Sandwave, Tremor and Craze.
