Marinov and his men later tried to kill Andrew Werner, the CEO of Haupt Eisen, one of Germany's largest steel corporations but thanks to Callen warning his colleagues, Agents Sam Hanna, Kensi Blye and Mike Renko managed to stop Marinov. Although Marinov escaped, his men were killed in the process. Marinov tried one final time to kill Callen/Keelson in revenge for the man betraying him at a park where Callen was meeting the real Keelson but Sam intervened and shot Marinov twice in the chest, killing him.
