Rifle Grenades can be equipped in Call of Duty 3 in multiplayer and in Call of Duty: World at War. This explosive is only available when a player has the M1 Garand, the Gewehr 43, or any bolt-action rifle except the PTRS-41. Like with the Grenade Launcher, it is not possible to aim down the sights whilst using the Rifle Grenade.

- Rifle grenades are a type of item and a skill associated with their use. They are grenades launched from the barrel of a rifle, usually an older military bolt-action type. For modern assault rifles, they have been replaced by underslung grenade launcher attachments. They appear in Red Alert 2: New World Order as the secondary attack method of the Ashigaru according to the May 2013 Revision. Rifle grenades turn these soldiers into something of a light artillery, capable of providing anti-infantry blanket fire and demolish lighter structures with ease. They are less effective against armored vehicles, but still moreso than the Ashigaru's carbine.
- A rifle grenade is a grenade that uses a rifle-based launcher to permit a longer effective range than would be possible if the grenade was thrown by hand. The practice of projecting grenades with rifle-mounted launchers was first widely used during World War I and continues to the present, with the term "rifle grenade" now encompassing many different types of payloads including high explosive, fragmentation, and anti-tank warheads as well as concussion, smoke, incendiary, and flare missiles. Many armies have replaced rifle grenades with dedicated grenade launchers - often attached as an auxiliary weapon on a rifle.
- The Rifle Grenade is a grenade in Day of Defeat: Source. It is only available to the Rifleman class on both teams. It takes a few seconds for the grenade to explode when fired. The American Rifle Grenade is a M17, while the German Rifle Grenade is a Gewehrsprenggranate.

Lee thanked him but pointed out that the number of extra troops they would supply would make little difference. Rhoodie then presented Lee with a green-painted spheroid with a metal shaft sticking out from it and called it a rifle grenade. The shaft could be place in the barrel of a AK-47 and when the gun fired, it would launch the grenade up to three hundred yards. This would allow each Rivington man to effectively act as a light artillery piece. Lee agreed and told Rhoodie to secretly position his men by the Federal lines just before th

The shaft could be place in the barrel of a AK-47 and when the gun fired, it would launch the grenade up to three hundred yards. This would allow each Rivington man to effectively act as a light artillery piece. Lee agreed and told Rhoodie to secretly position his men by the Federal lines just before the attack went in. Rhoodie did so and the surprise was so great that even the soldiers of the Army of Northern Virginia were unaware of the Rivington men until they began firing. The initial grenade attack disrupted Federal artillery fire allowing the Confederate soldiers to approach the defensive trenches. The grenade attack was then redirected to the trenches and this, along with the higher rate of fire of the AK-47s, allowed the Confederates to first take the trenches and then seize Washington City effectively ending the war.
