It also included several unique characteristics such as directly linking its disruptors to the ship's warp core allowing for them to be brought online faster, a shield grid that allowed more efficient power flow and a redesigned bridge layout. The Pa'chag's design is different from the standard Klingon design of that time. Its engineering hull was an ovoid cylinder that was taller then it was wide. At the rear were "wings" similar in design to that used on the K'Vort-class. A notch was created in the forward dorsal area of the hull, which is connected to a bridge module that shares several characteristics with the design that would be later used on the Negh'Var-class.
