The Tokehito are one of the six noble Gao-Showa Clans. The Tokehito have an important place in the history of the Gao-Showa. An ancient noble family with roots stretching right back to the origin of the Gao-Showa the Tokehito were second only to the Meiji clan itself in their power. However an ill judged was aginst the Kazul to the north of the empire led to their rapid decline and the rise of their former vasals the Tokugawa. The Tokugawa soon gained much of the land and power formerly held by the Tokehiko leading to much rivalry between the two. Eventually war resulted which split the nation in two and resulted in many deaths, greatly weakening Gao-Soto. This was was at it's bloody peak when the Luthori discovered Dovani and left the Gao-Showa all but incapable of resisting colonisation
