The 1964 Southeastern 500 was a Grand National (now Nextel Cup) event held at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 22, 1964. Fred Lorenzen dominated the event, leading 494 of the 500 laps in route to a half-lap victory over Fireball Roberts. Eventual season champion Richard Petty registered an 8th place effort. Stats
