| - Bristol Rovers and Manchester United have met on only seven occasions; twice in the league, twice in the League Cup and three times in the FA Cup. The most famous meeting between the teams among Bristol Rovers fans was the second one, which Rovers won 4-0 at Eastville in the FA Cup in 1956. The most recent meeting was in Lee Martin's testimonial game, which was a pre-season match in 1999 featuring David Beckham, Paul Scholes and Ole Gunnar Solskaer.
- Not to be confused with Norwich City, Manchester United is a Premiership club. They have fans the world over (Asia), coming from everywhere but Manchester. They have a long and illustrious tradition in the game, having won more pre-season competitions in Asia than any other team (See Pointless Competitions). - When Lisa watched a documentary movie about flopping, it began with a match between Manchester United and Sussexton-Hamptonshire-Unleath. During the match, a possible flopper turned to a big riot among the viewers and, even after 22 years, it is still going on.

- Manchester United (offiziell: Manchester United Football Club) – auch bekannt als Manchester Utd., Man United, United, Red Devils oder im nicht englischen Sprachraum auch als ManU – ist ein 1902 gegründeter englischer Fußballverein aus Trafford in Greater Manchester, der aus dem 1878 gegründeten Verein Newton Heath hervorging.
