Rick Girard (born May 1, 1974 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a professional centre who plays for ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. He played junior for the Swift Current Broncos of the Western League from 1990 to 1994. Girard won the Brad Hornung Trophy and the CHL Sportsman of the Year award in 1992-93. The Vancouver Canucks chose him 46th overall in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. Girard turned pro in 1994-95 with the Canucks' farm team the Syracuse Crunch. By 1998 he had still not been called up to the NHL, He therefore moved to Germany and the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

In 2006 Girard became a German citizen and was no longer subject to restrictions on foreign players. He is currently playing for ERC Ingolstadt.
