| - Wayne Jacks is a former NASCAR driver from Las Vegas, NV. He competed in one Nextel Cup Series event in his career as well as seven Craftsman Truck Series events. He also failed to qualify for a Busch Series race in 2002.
Nextel Cup
Jacks' lone Cup start came in 1993, when he competed at Phoenix. Starting last in his own equipment, Jacks only lasted forty-eight laps before an engine failure sidelined him to a 41st place finish.
Craftsman Trucks
Jacks' Truck Series career began two years later in 1995, when he debuted at Tuscon. Jacks qualified well , but only lasted twenty-nine laps into the race before an overheating engine drop-kicked him to 29th. But luckily, Jacks' finish improved every race after that, recording a 22nd place finish at Mesa Marin, a 20th place finish at Portland, an 18th place run at Sonoma, and finally a career-best 14th place showing in the fall race at Mesa Marin.
Jacks' lone Truck race of the 1996 season came early in the year when he competed once again at Phoenix. Starting last in the field, Jacks kept his car on the track to move up throughout the race, finishing with a respectable 17th place effort.
Jacks' final major NASCAR start came in 1998, when he and his Truck team returned to Mesa Marin. Starting 31st in the field of thirty-four, Jacks could only must a 30th place finish this time, falling victim to an early crash.
