The Corrupt Slime, introduced in the 1.1 update, is a member of the slime family that will only spawn after the Wall of Flesh has been defeated. It can only spawn in areas taken over by the Corruption, and can be found both above and below ground. As such, they can only be found in worlds with the Corruption (as opposed to the Crimson). They are the counterparts of Crimslimes.

  • The Corrupt Slime, introduced in the 1.1 update, is a member of the slime family that will only spawn after the Wall of Flesh has been defeated. It can only spawn in areas taken over by the Corruption, and can be found both above and below ground. As such, they can only be found in worlds with the Corruption (as opposed to the Crimson). They are the counterparts of Crimslimes. The Corrupt Slime has a total of 170 health and behaves like most slimes, but jump somewhat more frequently. They have low defense and deal around 30-50 damage. Like most slimes, they drop Gel and coins. When killed they will split into 2-3 Slimelings, the same way the Mother Slime splits.
