- Eggrobo (エッグロボ Eggurobo?), also spelled as EggRobo or Egg Robo, is a recurring character in the Sonic the Hedgehog series which debuted in Sonic & Knuckles. They are mass-produced Badnik models resembling their creator Dr. Eggman. In addition to being powerful soldiers on the battlefield, the Eggrobos are smart-bots designed to carry out tasks in Eggman's stead, making them a crown jewel in Eggman's attack force.
- These robotic henchmen debuted in Sonic & Knuckles as a common enemy at Sky Sanctuary Zone, where they were launched to certain areas from the uprising Death Egg. After they appear from the background, they float in one place rather than moving around by using the rocket booster on its back, and shoot a straight laser against the nearby enemy using their laser blasters.
- They first appeared as the Death Egg's external defense force. EggRobos made later appearances in other stories, attacking Amy Rose as she took a spinner from the Marble Garden Zone for a test flight, using a Control Disc on Shortfuse the Cybernik and accompanying the brainwashed Shorty on a mission to kill Sonic, and they were also seen at the beginning of The Battle For Mobius. EggRobos were originally enemies that featured in Sonic & Knuckles' Sky Sanctuary Zone. One EggRobo torments Knuckles the Echidna throughout his entire game, appearing in place of Robotnik during boss fights.
- The Eggrobo is a robot created by Dr. Eggman and utilized by his former minion, Dr. Julian Snively.
- EggRobo is a robotic version of Dr. Eggman, built in his own image. That is, if "his own image" means "like him, except with a weird, metal face". He appeared in the second half of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which was never made.
