| - Link's beloved uncle is killed in battle by the followers of the dead sorcerer Ganon, and Link is given his Master sword to avenge him and to save the Princess Zelda, who has been locked into an eternal slumber by Ganon's followers. Later, the Moblins obtain Link's blood and sprinkle onto to Ganon's ashes. Link is revealed to be a descendant of a great warrior who vanquished ganon in battle many years ago, and only his blood can ressurect Ganon. As ganon rises again, Link faces and defeats Ganon. He then reawakens Zelda from her sleep. Ganon attacks Hyrule once again, scattering the three pieces of the Triforce across the world. Link sets out to find them, while Ganon sends out his Moblins to kill Link. Link revocers two thirds of the Triforce, but the final piece falls into Ganon's clutches. Link then discovers Ganon's plan to open the Dark World to unleash an unstoppable army. However, in the final battle, Link seals Ganon back into the Dark World himself. Aganhim, a wizard who lives in the Hyrule Castle, alerts Link to travel on the far away island of Koridai. Once he and Link travel there, Aganhim reveals that he is working to free Ganon from his prison and leaves Link trapped on Koridai, returning to Hyrule to explain away that Link was felled in heroic battle. On Koridai, Link meets an apparition named Sahasrahla, one of those who forged the Master Sword many many years ago. He trains and assists Link in his quest to have his revenge on Aganhim. After returning to Hyrule, Link chases Aganhim into the Dark World, where he must find the seven maiden descendants of the Seven Sages in the dungeons of the Dark World. He eventually learns that Zelda is the seventh maiden, and unites the seven maidens power to break the barrier around Ganon's Tower. Inside, Link faces Aganhim and then Ganon. After Ganon is seemingly defeated, he reverts into a bat and flies away. Link chases Aganhim to the Pyramid of Power, where Aganhim pleads for his life, but Link slays him with the master Sword and he and Zelda then return to Hyrule. Link learns from the fairy Navi that Ganon has returned to Hyrule and is seeking the Ocarina of Time, which will alow to return to the time when he was Ganondorf Dragmire, a thief who lead to the first Fall of hyrule through his robbery of the Triforce. After Link retirves the Ocarina, he throws it into the castle moat, creating a time rift, through which he falls through and encounters Ganondorf. After the creators of Hyrule flood Hyrule to stop Ganondorf once he steals the Triforce. Link, however, witnesses Ganon finally being transformed into Ganon by the Triforce's power. The two then duel before Link defeats Ganon, reducing him to ashes. However, upon his return to Hyrule, Link finds that Ganon has taken over again. Link joins the pirate girl Tetra and the sail the great Sea together in hopes of finding the wind Waker, a mystical genius capable of overthrowing Ganon and restoring order. Over their time together, Link and Tetra begin to fall in love, before it is eventually revealed that tetra is in fact a disguised Zelda, who joined Link as the protector of the Triforce to aid him on his quest. However, the duo later learn that the Wind Waker is dead, but his spirit lives on in Link. They then return to hyrule and Link faces Ganon in his throne room, finally defeating him by imapling him with the Master Sword. Link sets out to find his old friend Navi, and learns of the mysterious Majora's mask, a mystical object which has incredible powers. Link travels the land, eventually killing four giants before finding Navi, near death, who tells him that he must find the mask before her wicked sister Ariel can. After many battles, link finally stops Ariel from retrieving the mask, before Navi is ressurected through it, revealing that she is the evil sister who neds the power of the mask to take over Hyrule. Link and Ariel then team up to destroy the mask and Navi, before Ariel dies of her wounds. Link sets out on soul-searching journey after the end of the previous season. In the meantime, Ganon is risen from the dead once more and he seeks out the Wand of gamelon, the only thing that can destroy his current form. Zelda herself then sets out to stop Ganon herself, eventually defeating his High Priestess. As ganon creates to create an Age of Darkness, Zelda uses the Wand to banish him from Hyrule. Ganon's meddling with magic has transformed the Triforce into a sentient being, but it sets out to destroy hyrule rather then protect or rule it. Ganon reluctantly works with Link and Zelda to defeat the Triforce, although he secretly plans to steal it and kill Link with it's power. After the death of the King, Zelda becomes Queen and must lead the army of Hyrule into a war with the Triforce and monsters from the Dark World. In the final battle, she uses the Wand of Gamelon while Link uses his Skyward Sword revert Triforce back into an inanimate object. They then seal Ganon back inside of the Dark World, but they first place a speel over him so that he can never escape again.
