  • It has narrow paths rising above the level of the tall grass.
  • Route 7 is tucked between the western mountain ranges of Unova. The route stretches between Mistralton City and Twist Mountain, with Celestial Tower lying in the northwest. Amongst the dense patches of grass in the area are several raised walkways, which can be useful for avoiding Trainers and wild Pokémon. At the center of the route is a house where your Pokémon can be healed if needed. The Ace Trainer at the end of the first walkway gives you your first chance to try out one of Generation V's new battle modes: Rotation, in Black; and Triple, in White.

At the center of the route is a house where your Pokémon can be healed if needed. The Ace Trainer at the end of the first walkway gives you your first chance to try out one of Generation V's new battle modes: Rotation, in Black; and Triple, in White. After hearing about a storm in Opelucid City, a fierce lightning storm will rage here. If you try to pass the house where your Pokémon can be healed, an old lady will invite you in for soup. She tells you about Thundurus (White) or Tornadus (Black) setting wild winds and crashing lightning on the region. Alluding to the fact they flee immediately in battle, she says that the Pokémon flies so fast that she has been unable to capture it. When you venture outside again, the storm has ceased briefly, and you'll meet Thundurus/Tornadus. It flies off before you're able to engage it in battle but, from this point on, it will roam the region until you capture it.
