Celestials, or celestial beings, was a term meaning those that existed outside of Esria. It could also be applied to any being whose nature originated from outside of the mortal world. They were not a singular race themselves, but rather contained many different kinds of celestial beings which could be classified and placed within the separate planes that existed within The World.

- The Celestials are known to have a vast array of cosmic powers and abilities at their disposal. Such powers allow them to be far superior to those of gods and withstand planet shattering explosions.
- The Celestials are an ancient race of entities that possess vast matter-manipulation abilities. They were present long before the dawn of the galactic communities and even the Dark Elves and Asgardians. They were notorious for their utilization of the Infinity Stones.
- The celestials are no match for the omnipotence of the The-One-Above-All,The Beyonders, and Pre-Retcon Beyonder as they are also under the direct authority of The Living Tribunal and have a weaknesses of the world devourer Galactus when he is at a high stats in cosmic power and that even Franklin Richards is a problem for them as well.
- The Celestials are ancient humaniod god-like beings with immense power and strength. These beings were present long before the Dark Elves and Asgard and at one time the beings wielded the power of the Infinity Stones.
- The Celestials (「天神族」?; Tenjin zoku) were a race of angel-like beings who once lived on the Celestial Plain, but are now extinct. They are only seen in the form of spirits.
- Celestials, or celestialkin are people who believe they are a "higher entity" or being, and feel a deep resonance and connection with the cosmos and everything around them. People have described feeling ethereal and "out of this world". Celestials are similar to Angelkin and Galaxykin but not quite.
