  • Deans is a small community within the town of Livingston in West Lothian, Scotland. Deans is situated in the northern part of Livingston, in an area formerly known as Livingston Station. Many people who have lived in this area for a long time often refer to it as such. Deans has a number of primary schools, small shops and sit-in and take-away restaurants. It also has an old-people's home called Restondene. The town is host to some very old houses. It has an urban area called Deans South, which will soon be demolished. New houses will be built in this area, mainly council houses. Deans also has an industrial estate that houses a number of businesses, including Tesco.
