The raptor security guard was a minor villain in Riddle of the Raptors, the first book in the Astrosaurs series. He, like most of the velociraptors to appear in the series, worked for General Loki and was sent to Olympus to put up the image that the raptors were training for the Great Dinosaur Games, when in fact they were preparing a takeover of the entire Jurassic Quadrant. However, he was not the best dinosaur for the job as he was rather dim and quick to blab important raptor secrets. He also wasn't very interested in work, choosing to use a recently obtained satellite monitor to watch Loki's plan unfold instead of staying on guard duty. Teggs and Gipsy arrived in the room, trying to discover what Loki was planning, and Teggs demanded to know what the guard was doing. The guard quickly leapt to his feet, revealing that he was working for General Loki. He attempted to attack the astrosaurs, but Gipsy captured him by sitting on him and made him reveal every last detail of the raptors' scheme to blow up all of the dinosaur leaders in the galaxy. While it can be assumed that the security guard was arrested for his involvement in Loki's scheme, the security guard was luckier than the other raptors, who Loki allowed to be fed to be T. rexes in exchange for his own safety.
