Bubble Splash (バブルスプラッシュ Baburu Supurasshu?) is the Special Weapon that X obtains from Bubble Crab in Mega Man X2. When equipped, X fires a stream of bubbles that float in an upwards arc for a moment before bursting. The amount of bubbles generated in the stream depends on how long the player presses the FIRE button: up to seven bubbles can be generated in a single stream when the button is pressed one time long enough, and a minimum of one or two bubbles will be generated if the button is pressed lightly. This weapon will continue to fire if the weapon button is held down, including during charging. When Bubble Splash is fully charged, X is surrounded by a ring of bubbles that can be used as a "shield" to damage enemies.

Bubble Splash is Flame Stag and Violen's weakness.
