  • Magic Carpets are Fun essences in MySims. You can find them by prospecting in the Fun Prospecting Cave. It is the only essence from the Fun prospecting cave not to be in any other game. They can also be obtained by being nice to Daryl Handsly, the Fun Uber Sim.

  • There are two major hubs from which the carpets travel - Shantay Pass and South Pollnivneach. Carpets can travel in both directions between destinations, but other carpet destinations will only travel to one of these two hubs. However, by clicking "quick-travel", players can reach their destination almost immediately with an increased fee - 1,000 coins. This can also be halved to 500 coins with a ring of Charos (a).   • The magic carpet was brought to Britannia by Monsieur Loubet, and sold to the mage, Bandaii, who later gave it to Lord British as a gift. The carpet first appeared in Lord British's private chamber at Castle Britannia, where the Avatar found it in Ultima V. The magic carpet of Tangu, also called "Prince Housain's carpet" was a seemingly worthless carpet from Tangu in Persia that acted as a magic carpet. It was featured in tales from 1001 Arabian Nights.
