| - Hamartiaphage is detailed in VTR: Mythologies Image:Bullet-nip.png, a book to address several classic legends and rumors about vampires and how they relate to White Wolf's Kindred. It is a discipline that allows Kindred to gain Vitae, by drinking people's sin, as opposed to directly drinking their blood. It is associated with no clan, covenant, or bloodline, allowing any vampire to learn it at out-of-clan cost, provided they can find a member of the Order of the Sin-Eaters to teach them. It is associated with no clan, covenant, or bloodline, allowing any vampire to learn it at out-of-clan cost, provided they can find a member of the Order of the Sin-Eaters to teach them. Supposedly, all vampires are capable of drinking sin, and can unlock this ability by using a secret Merit, although Kindred who take the time to learn Hamartiaphage can do so with significantly fewer penalties. The art of Hamartiaphage is based on the Coils of the Dragon, but the two are not compatible; Hamartiaphage must be taken as its own discipline, but only has three levels, like the average Coil. Like Tezcatl, it might be possible to create the missing four or five dot power. The full details may be found in VTR: Mythologies Image:Bullet-nip.png for Vampire: The Requiem.
