In 2405, Naisa took matters into her own hands, infecting herself with her pathogen and pretending to defect to the Federation in order to spread the disease. The IKS Azetbur and three Orion corvettes were dispatched to stop her from causing what the Klingons believed would be a quadrant-wide epidemic. While these ships failed to reach her in time, Naisa's plan was nonetheless stopped when she died and all copies of her engineered strain were destroyed. ("Airborne")
