Imer is the current capital of the Protectorate of Menoth. Originally the largest city of the Idrian people, Imer was conquered by the Menites in 504 AR, following an earthquake erupting during the middle of the fighting, which knocked the Idrians off their feet, but left Menoth's worshipers standing. Following the earthquake, most Idrians mass-converted to Menoth, although some still refused to bow to the will of the Scrutators. Sometime after the ascension of Garrick Voyle to hierarch in 588 AR, the Protectorate capital was moved from Sul to Imer, presumably for safety reasons.
