| - Here is the list of the Whips that are acquired in Secret of Mana:

- Whips are weapons used by Whippers. They are generally fast, but have low physical damage and range equal to that of the Long Sabel. When Whippers are placed farther away from their target, they are less likely to actually hit it with each swing. Whips tend to use a very high amount of MAG in comparison to other magical weapons in other classes, while giving out intensive magical effects. Whips are also elastic, as the whip will extend when the Whipper is dragged at a fast speed.
- Whips don't do as much the damage as the other three 3 weaponry types, but the buffs they provide to pet damage and healing are extremely useful. The Growl skill also enhances their defensive capabilities. Whips do slashing damage and take advantage of most of Slashing's booster skills to increase their damage output. That and the combined effects of Wound and Intimidate can devastate their foes. Whip users get a strong boost to their DPS from pets, and can also use DoTs and HoTs in battle. It's not uncommon for them to use two whips to gain bonuses to both of their pets. Stats

| - Whips are weapons used by Whippers. They are generally fast, but have low physical damage and range equal to that of the Long Sabel. Whips are also elastic, as the whip will extend when the Whipper is dragged at a fast speed. The Level 1 and 2 weapons use the word "Whip", while the Level 3 and 4 weapons use the word "Chain". The Level 5 and 6 weapons use the word "Flail" in their names (except the Freeze Whip 5), while the Level 7 and 8 weapons have either the words "Morning Star" or its abbreviation "ms". Like the staves, the whips have all 6 types.

* DPS: Beastmaster for increased damage, Dark Knight to weaken enemies
* Tank: Beastmaster for increased healing, Tactician for parry, Ranger for increased self healing
* Support: Priest for better heals, Paladin for buffs, Angel for resurrection Stat distribution: There's a great number of things you can do with whips these are some examples:

* Defense (agi/cnt/dur): 0/0/3 1/0/2 2/0/1 1/1/1 3/0/3

* Pros: Very adaptable
* Cons: No real focus strength-wise
