Braccus is one of the Xenkan Monks of the Serpent Isle and mainly responsible for the gardens. Braccus seemed to be one of the most aloof monks on Monk Isle, when the Avatar met him in Ultima VII Part Two, as he spoke of various spiritual things and that Xenka's prophecies were not his to talk about. He even claimed that he was above such a thing like a name. Additionally, Braccus offered the Avatar his reserves of dried roots. While they were of no worth to Fedabiblio, they were perfect for spellcasting.

He even claimed that he was above such a thing like a name. However, he did come in handy in the Avatar's quest for fresh Mandrake Root for Fedabiblio (in order to get a spellbook), as it was Braccus who explained where to find fresh ones and always watched the salt tides. Talking later to him revealed that the tides were right and the Avatar could harvest the roots. Additionally, Braccus offered the Avatar his reserves of dried roots. While they were of no worth to Fedabiblio, they were perfect for spellcasting.
