abstract	Captain Androw Karpov is a UNSC Navy officer, who is the commander of the UNSC Silent Earth. He had previously been the captain of the UNSC Blue Dawn during the closing months of the Human-Covenant War. He is a close ally of spartan Taylor-B025. Androw was born on Mars, and attended the UNSC Officer training academy on the planet. Immediately after his graduation, the young 18 year old Ensign Karpov fought at the Battle of Arcadia. There his actions saved many civilians lives, and kick started his military career. In December of 2551, Androw was reassigned to the UNSC Blue Dawn, to be its commander under Captain Owen Chester. He would participate in several battles including the Fall of Reach, and the discovery of the Labyrinth. Following these battles he would ultimately becoming trapped inside the shield world Uterria along with the rest of the crew from the Blue Dawn. Androw assumed command of the Blue Dawn and its forces after the death of Captain Chester in Uterria. He and Taylor would lead the UNSC against the flood and Covenant inside the shield world, and eventually escape the planet with the Blue Dawn, it's crew, and the surviving crew of the UNSC Liverpool. The Blue Dawn then participated in the Battle of Earth with Androw at the helm. After the conclusion of the Human-Covenant War, Androw was promoted to the rank of Captain, and in 2554, given command of the Silent Earth.
