The New Afrikan Air Force (NA-AF) is the aerial warfare branch of the New Afrikan Armed Forces, and one of the five branches of the military. Following the breakup of the United States in 1954, New Afrika walked away with the lion's share of the United States Air Force, primarily due to the vast majority of the USAF's bases, inventory, and factories being located in the nation of New Afrika today. As it is the largest air force on the continent, and the second largest branch of the New Afrikan military, the NA-AF recieve special attention from the federal government, in that it takes priority over the branches of the military.
