Before the war, Mumblecore worked at the Department of Sanitation on Cybertron. Often distracted by social media on the extranet, he would be reprimanded for poor work. However, he was actually very good at exposing violators - "litterbots," as they were called. Using camera footage and recording devices, he became quite the whistleblower. This does not make him popular with his kin, so he improved his janitorial skills over time, to balance out the time he spent alone. In his air defense role he patrols the skies, albeit lazily, still addicted to pop culture information, vid feeds, and other forms of media. He knows how to work the system, becoming an annoying tattletale when he needs some thinking time alone as he cleans up the base, or an irritating insubordinate when he wants to be kic
