Edward Joseph Flanagan (born February 23, 1944) is a former American Football center who played for the Detroit Lions and the San Diego Chargers in a twelve-year career that lasted from 1965 to 1976 in the National Football League. Flanagan played college football at Purdue University and was drafted in the fifth round of the 1965 NFL Draft by the Lions. He was selected to four Pro Bowls. As of 2013, he is an assistant coach with the Cedar Rapids Titans of the Indoor Football League.
