- The Pods were seven spacecraft sent by the Nexus Force to seek aid in the battle against the Maelstrom.
- Pods are small embryo-like Necromorphs that Guardians eject as a means of self-defense.
- The KND and SACT (Special Alien Capture Team) have set up stations in the infected zones to let you collect and dispose of newly created Pods. If the Pods aren’t collected and disposed of, they will grow into Terrafusers and the infected zone will expand further. The collected Pods need to be disposed of quickly, so you’ll need to run through the area scooping up as many as you can in as short a time as possible. When you reach the end, deposit the Pods in the drum provided by SACT Agents. Also see Infected Zone Races

- In every pod, mermaids who complete their training in Mermaid School are granted a Moon Ring as full initiation into the pod. Pods are governed by the Council, which consists of elder wiser members. There are mermaid pods all around the world, which practice their own unique types of magic that differ them from one another. Although mermaids usually only have members of their own pod, mermaids from the outside are also welcome to join.
- Tento údaj uřčuje, kolik unesete předmětů. Na začátku hry máte vždy 1000 pods. Každá úroveň profese přidá dalších 5 pods. Jakmile budete mít profesi úrovně 100, přičte se dalších 1000 pods. Element Země/síla přidává také pods - 1 bod síli = 5 pods.

- In every pod, mermaids who complete their training in Mermaid School are granted a Moon Ring as full initiation into the pod. Pods are governed by the Council, which consists of elder wiser members. There are mermaid pods all around the world, which practice their own unique types of magic that differ them from one another. Although mermaids usually only have members of their own pod, mermaids from the outside are also welcome to join. Unlike mermaids, mermen are solitary individuals. Their mothers are forced to give them up and have them be raised by land people due to the war that happened long ago. However, this may not be the law anymore as mermaids now trust the mermen more.

- Tento údaj uřčuje, kolik unesete předmětů. Na začátku hry máte vždy 1000 pods. Každá úroveň profese přidá dalších 5 pods. Jakmile budete mít profesi úrovně 100, přičte se dalších 1000 pods. Element Země/síla přidává také pods - 1 bod síli = 5 pods. Charakter který nosí předměty vážící víc než unese se často říka "Přetížený". Přetížený charakter se nemůže pohybovat nebo provádět běžné činnosti. Přetížený nemůže zahájít výměnu (pokud ale ji zahájí někdo jiný obchodovat se může), nebo brát věci z trezoru nebo z truhly. Pokud budete sbírat, ziskané zkušenosti ze sběru, nezískáte pokud by sesbírané věci vedli k přetížení. Nemůžete být přetíženi, odebraním předmětů z banky nebo výměnu s jiným hráčem.Pokud tedy obchodujete s tím že budete přetíženi nelze odebrat předměty, které vás přetěžují, aby jste je dali jinému hráči.Další způsoby jak se přetížit jsou třeba dropnutí předmětů z monstra nebo předplatit si mazlíčka a jiné.
