One method of training multiple skills at once is to bring along a hatchet, a tinderbox and a bird snare or two. Players can cut eucalyptus trees and burn their logs while waiting for the traps to catch tropical wagtails (Hunter level 19 required, level 20 required for 2 traps at once). They can also cook the raw bird meat for Cooking experience and food to heal the occasional hits by the Wolves. Players can then train Woodcutting, Firemaking, and Cooking and Hunter all at once, making this an ideal training area for players with lower levels in those skills.

Eucalyptus logs were a very popular log of choice for Firemaking training after the release of the Toolbelt, as they could be lit with one click after a tinderbox was added to the belt; however, this changed after the introduction of bonfires and the new craft-X interface.
