- Don Bluth (born September 13, 1937) is an American animator, film director, producer, writer, production designer, video game designer, and animation instructor who started his career at Disney in 1955, only to leave the company in 1979 and start his own animation studio, Don Bluth Entertainment (formerly Sullivan Bluth Studios) after believing the company had lost its charm when they turned down his pitch for an animated feature-length adaptation of Robert C. O'Brien's novel Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH, which he decided to create by himself and a few of his friends at the studio. It was shortened to The Secret of NIMH, and the protagonist was originally named Frisby, but the Wham-O Company was the then owner of the toy name Frisbee, so Bluth changed the protagonist's name to Mrs. Bri
- He was born in El Paso, Texas and became one of the chief animators at Warner Bros. Animation. Along with fellow animators Gary Goldman and John Pomeroy, he set out in 1979 to start his own animation studio, Don Bluth Productions. His style is rougher and more lively than that of Warner Bros. films, and his films tend to have a mystical element to them. In 2004, Bluth produced an animated scene for the music video "Mary", by the Scissor Sisters. The band contacted Bluth after having recalled fond memories of the sequence from Xanadu.

- Don Bluth (1937-?) es un director, animador, productor y escritor que empezo su carrera en 1955 en The Walt Disney Studios hasta que salió de allí en 1979 y fundó su propio estudio de thumb|163pxanimación Don Bluth Entertainment, al fundar su estudio de animación realizó su primera película con ayuda de animadores novatos llamada The Secret of NIMH basada en el popular libro La sra.
