Shuyin is the final boss of the Final Fantasy X-2 video game. A tormented spirit from Zanarkand a thousand years ago, Shuyin attempted to activate Bevelle's ultimate machina Vegnagun to end the war between Zanarkand and Bevelle before his lover Lenne was forced to fight. The both of them killed, Shuyin remained as an Unsent, his grief and hatred twisting his mind, and he came to desire to use Vegnagun to destroy all of Spira and end humanity's constant fighting and struggles. Fought deep in the Farplane after destroying Vegnagun, the Gullwings defeat Shuyin, and Lenne's spirit appears to him to soothe him and finally allow him to rest in peace.

  • Shuyin est le principal antagoniste du jeu Final Fantasy X-2. Shuyin fut, 1000 ans avant les évènements de Final Fantasy X, un joueur de blitzball très connu à Zanarkand. Ressemblant énormément à Tidus, Yuna a confondu Shuyin avec ce dernier en visionnant la sphère trouvée par Kimahri Ronso, ce qui la poussa à faire partie des Albatros.

Cuando Yuna recibe una esfera encontrada por Kimahri en el Monte Gagazet que mostraba a Shuyin en una celda debajo de Bevelle, ella lo confunde con Tidus. Esto la hace embarcar en su carrera como cazadora de esferas.   • Shuyin's spirit was filled with such hatred and desire for vengeance he could not pass on to Farplane yet not manifest into a fiend and became a shadow of his former self. Within the Den of Woe, the pyreflies that continuously replayed his memories came to be imprinted with his hatred and began acting on their own. Rumors began circulating of a vengeful presence inhabiting the cave with reports of people seeing the illusion of a "gigantic machine" within; this was really an illusion projected by Shuyin.
  • Shuyin lebte 1000 Jahre vor den Ereignissen von Final Fantasy X, in der Zeit des Krieges zwischen Zanarkand und Bevelle.
