- Davey is most likely a black lab-whippet mix. He has a pleasant demeanor and is regarded as "the greatest dog of all time" by Toby Jones and Danny Davy (no relation).
- Davey is the seventh episode in the fifth season of Adventure Time. It is the one hundred and eleventh episode overall.
- The Hero can meet Davey before Day 10 by traveling to the Gypsy Camp, however at that time Davey comes out and asks the Hero to leave the camp. On the morning of Day 10, Davey gets captured by Burgomeister Ivanov for sneaking around the Town walls after Dr. Cranium has reported that Igor didn't return from the Cemetery by sundown of Day 9. Davey is therefore blamed for Igor's murder and is to be executed by Day 11 morning, when the Hero frees him just hours prior to sunrise. To avoid suspicion, Davey tells the Hero to come visit the Camp the next day.
- School boy Davey Landis was a big fan of Magno, the Magnetic Man. In fact, he was such a big fan that his older sister, Carole Landis, made him a "little Magno" costume as a gift. Carole made a living as a private investigator. In spite of his young age, she allowed her brother to come along and help her with her cases. From that point on, Magno and Davey were inseparable, battling mundane crooks and supervillains such as Cobra, Black Puma, and Clown. During one adventure, the Clown kidnapped Davey and brain-washed him into being his own sidekick.

Carole made a living as a private investigator. In spite of his young age, she allowed her brother to come along and help her with her cases. On one such occasion, they crossed paths with Magno, and Davey was (to use the period idiom) over the moon. When his sister was kidnapped, Davey put on a Little Magno costume and tried to help his idol, reasoning that Carole was his sister and he wasn't going to sit on the sidelines while she was in danger. At first, Magno was reluctant to let a non-powered youth tag along, but Davey's persistence eventually wore him down and he agreed to give the self-imposed sidekick a portion of his powers for an hour. Together, the newly minted duo saved Carole and brought down the villain behind the kidnapping to justice. From that point on, Magno and Davey were inseparable, battling mundane crooks and supervillains such as Cobra, Black Puma, and Clown. During one adventure, the Clown kidnapped Davey and brain-washed him into being his own sidekick. At first, Magno had to "magnetize" Davey every time they had to fight crime, but eventually, the recharges became unnecessary and Davey was able to use magnetic powers 24/7.
- The Hero can meet Davey before Day 10 by traveling to the Gypsy Camp, however at that time Davey comes out and asks the Hero to leave the camp. On the morning of Day 10, Davey gets captured by Burgomeister Ivanov for sneaking around the Town walls after Dr. Cranium has reported that Igor didn't return from the Cemetery by sundown of Day 9. Davey is therefore blamed for Igor's murder and is to be executed by Day 11 morning, when the Hero frees him just hours prior to sunrise. To avoid suspicion, Davey tells the Hero to come visit the Camp the next day. On Day 12, Igor is finally found in one of the graves, and the gypsy's attitude toward the Hero changes completely. Davey welcomes him and escorts him to see Magda. At this point, the Hero obtains an amulet (or a spell) of magical protection against the wraiths and assists the gypsy feast with Davey and the others turning into wolves for amusement. In the morning, Davey bids his goodbye and leaves Mordavia alongside the rest of the Camp.
