The February Offensive was a sweeping series of revolutionary and militia attacks against American troops and military installations during the Guinea War. Mining facilities were also targeted by the ecocentrists. The Guinea National Earth Militias was the main group involved in the offensive, although other guerrilla groups were involved. Many historians and military analysts have compared the event to the Tet Offensive in Vietnam nearly a hundred years earlier. As a result of the February Offensive, US president Donald King launched the 2063 troop surge.
