Sioux is a starting camp not far from Ponil. Located in a small field, the camp has seven sites, with two Red Roof Inns. A small water spout is located down the hill, a few hundred yards from the main campsites. The majority of crews spending the night at Sioux arrive as their first or last campsite, due to its close location to Ponil Turnaround. Most crews will pass through Ponil on their way to the campsites.
