Traicus was a criminally corrupt politician and a devout follower of Hera. He killed Lea's parents in Thrace under unknown circumstances. He then moved on to Plurabus where he became a local leader and law enforcement agent. When Traicus wanted to be rid of a peace monger called Amphion he murdered two locals (Tallus and Shira) and framed Amphion for the crime. Hercules and Iolaus, knowing Amphion was innocent, sought out the Sword of Veracity so they could prove his innocence. To stop the heroes from succeeding, Traicus called upon Hera for help. Hera sent two Minotaurs to fight Hercules but they were defeated and the sword proved Amphion's innocence. The sword also proved that Traicus was the real killer.
