Transit Sosnogorsk is a Uralican football (soccer) club based in Sosnogorsk, the smaller of the two constituent cities of Ukhta-Sosnogorsk. Their all-time win-loss record is quite impressive, having lost only three times in the club's history, of which two losses have come in the Kanslerinkilpi - they lost 4-0 to SiPS in the quarterfinals in 2009, and were handed a jaw-dropping third-round extra-time loss against Khalmer-Yu Town from the Nelonen. Their only loss in league play came against Trátyi TK early in the 2009 Ykkönen season, but they won against all fifteen other clubs and therefore advanced to the Bolakliiga automatically. Described as a fast-paced team, they are expected to finish in the upper mid-table region this season.
