Cyberspace Championship Wrestling was created by Jonathan Stevens in 1999 upon moving to Anniston, Alabama. It began as a diced fed and remained as such for the first year of existence until it was realized that luck should not play a role in the outcome of the federation as a whole. Looking for another inter-fed to join, CCW contracted with the original FedWars. There they made a small impact before a bigger name came calling. PrimeTimeCentral.

  • Cyberspace Championship Wrestling was created by Jonathan Stevens in 1999 upon moving to Anniston, Alabama. It began as a diced fed and remained as such for the first year of existence until it was realized that luck should not play a role in the outcome of the federation as a whole. In 2000, CCW moved to a roleplay/angle based system. It was quite popular among the members. Soon thereafter the federation became a member of the now defunct FightFactory but the inter-fed closed its doors soon after. CCW carried on without any inter-promotional affiliation for months and enjoyed great successes during this time. Looking for another inter-fed to join, CCW contracted with the original FedWars. There they made a small impact before a bigger name came calling. PrimeTimeCentral. CCW joined PTC towards the end of Stevens's reign as president. The federation was taken over by numerous members during the time in PTC - Tim Inman, Adam Renner, Jessey Ramey, Spider, and finally closed down in 2004 while Sylkk was handling the operations. For two years nothing was mentioned of CCW. In 2006 rumors briefly circulated in regards to a re-opening. A new domain name (www.ccwfed.com) was found to have been reserved by none other than Jonathan Stevens himself. It looked as if CCW was in rebuilding stages but the domain name quickly disappeared from the books and nothing ever came of it. Towards the end of 2006 former CCW President Jonathan Stevens coincidentally met up with a former CCW handler by the name of Bryan Alkire in Manassas, Virginia. The two discussed the possibility of bringing CCW back to life but disagreements on the direction of the federation quickly dissolved the possibility. Things were quiet until early 2008 when a teaser trailer for the "Return of CCW" aired on MySpace.com. The social outlet did not reach many of its intended audience and once again the idea of re-opening CCW fizzled without word. April 2009. Jonathan Stevens officially announced a return date for CCW. Within a week he acquired a new domain name (www.ccw-ewrestling.com), had the website constructed, and opened applications to anyone interested. As of this update CCW is scheduled to re-open on April 20, 2009 as a roleplay/angle based federation.
