On Bungie.net since 3/21/06 The Name A Dumb Door came from an experience that he had at his friend's house. He was playing Xbox Live with his friend Private Spud, and they were trying to come up with a name for him to become his new gamertag. Door got up to go to the restroom, but as he was leaving the room, Private Spud's large dog ran through the door, slamming it into Door's face, who said: "GAH! DUMB DOOR!" And thus, the name was created.
