  • George Harold Lowe, Jr. (born November 10, 1958 in Dunedin, Florida) is an American voice actor/comedian. He is perhaps best known for his role as the voice of Space Ghost on the Cartoon Network/Adult Swim, talk show Space Ghost Coast to Coast, a role which he played for all 110 episodes spanning fourteen years before the series ended in 2008, along with its spin-off Cartoon Planet. He continued the role on Perfect Hair Forever. He is still good friends with Space Ghost co-stars C. Martin Croker, Andy Merrill, and Dave Willis.
  • George Lowe (1909–89) was a Labour Party politician active in the Paddington area. Born in Hackney, he was the son of John Lowe, a worker at a saw mill and Rose Ann née Brown, a laundry worker.By 1911 the family were living in Paddington. He became a member of Westminster City Council, which absorbed Paddington, from its first election in 1964 until his death aged 80 in 1989.

He subsequently became a resident of Third Avenue in the Queen's Park estate. He sat as a councillor representing Queen's Park ward on Paddington Borough Council from 1956, and in 1961 he was elected to the London County Council as a representative of Paddington North. He remained a member of both the borough and the county councils until their abolition in 1965. He became a member of Westminster City Council, which absorbed Paddington, from its first election in 1964 until his death aged 80 in 1989.
